Lye-Keong Tho

Lye-Keong serves as Strategic Advisor to Seneca, supporting the firm’s broader development and positioning with development banks, multilateral institutions, and select corporates and asset managers exploring nature-based investment opportunities. He is a senior institutional markets professional with over three decades of experience across New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore, specializing in equities, structured products, and institutional client advisory.

He has held senior roles at Bank of China International, Fox-Pitt Kelton, and Keefe Bruyette, where he built and led regional sales platforms and managed relationships with Tier 1 institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds and global asset managers. He has a consistent track record as a top revenue producer, with deep experience in client origination, sales strategy, and capital raising across Asia.

His experience includes structuring and distributing complex financial products and advising clients on portfolio allocation across emerging and developed markets, providing insight into how institutions assess risk, return, and investment opportunities. At Bank of China International (Singapore), he served as Executive Director and Head of Equities Sales and was appointed to the Board of Directors. Earlier in his career, he scaled institutional franchises in Asia, including tripling revenues at Fox-Pitt Kelton in Hong Kong and leading Asian equities coverage for global clients.

He began his career in banking and consulting with Citibank and Booz Allen & Hamilton, and holds a BA (cum laude) in Economics from Harvard College.
