Jenny Lee

Jenny is the Deputy Secretary General for the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA), leading the Association’s multi-stakeholder engagement with government bodies, regulators, private sector entities and non-governmental organizations. She is responsible for developing strategic initiatives and driving sustainable finance product innovation, transition planning, and biodiversity. Jenny is actively involved in the capacity building and data analytics workstreams of the Cross Agency Steering Group Centre for Green and Sustainable Finance, a government led-industry body. She is also a member of the UNFC4S, Biodiversity and the Finance, and serves as the co-director for the HKGFA – Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Certificate in Sustainable Finance training program.

Jenny has over 20 years of global experience in investment banking, and human capital management. Prior to joining HKGFA, Jenny was a Principal Consultant at Mercer for C-suite Multinationals, co-creating solutions on employee wellbeing, diversity and inclusion. She joined from Goldman Sachs, as an Executive Director in Prime Brokerage responsible for managing and advising asset managers on financing and capital raising in Asia, and prior to that, worked at Credit Suisse, where she was held multiple senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer of the Asian Equity Derivatives division. Jenny began her investment banking career in London with JPMorgan in Equity Derivatives.

Jenny co-founded and is a non-executive director of Development Finance Asia, which specializes in structuring innovative sustainable financing solutions with a focus on impact in emerging markets. She holds a BSC from the University of Manchester Science and Technology, is CFA ESG investing certified, and a member of The Women’s Foundation and Women to Watch 30% club.
