Tathagata Guha Roy

Tathagata is Director, Project Advisory at Seneca Impact Advisors, where he advises on the firm’s project portfolio and related advisory work, with a focus on project development and helping shape initiatives that balance financial viability with outcomes for communities and the natural environment. He also supports Seneca’s work across South Asia.

Tathagata has more than 20 years’ experience in investments and the financial industry. He was an advisor to WWF’s Bankable Nature Solutions Asia-Pacific team, where he supported the origination and structuring of investment opportunities in the region. He has held senior roles across leading global institutions, including Alliance Trust, where he was Head of Investments for Asia Pacific, and Citigroup Asset Management, where he served as Senior Investment Officer and Head of Equity Investments for Asia ex-Japan, based in Hong Kong and Singapore.

He is also the co-founder of Littlemore Innovation Labs Pte. Ltd., an education technology company, where he served as CEO for the first five years before before transitioning out of day-to-day management.

He graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant (India) and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is based in Bengaluru, India.
