Seneca Featured in Earth.org on the Financing Gap for Nature

Earth.org has published a new article written by Seneca advisor Geneviève Hilton, featuring commentary from Jean‑Marc Champagne. The piece examines the growing gap between financial flows that harm nature and investment directed toward protecting and restoring it.

The findings reinforce a challenge central to Seneca’s work. While nature-positive finance continues to grow, significantly larger volumes of capital still flow toward activities that contribute to ecosystem degradation. Closing this gap requires more than ambition alone. It requires investable projects, credible pipelines, and practical mechanisms capable of directing capital toward better environmental and social outcomes.
