Rob de Jong

Rob is Director, Business and Funding Development at Seneca Impact Advisors, where he supports project origination and engagement with funding partners and stakeholders across Europe.

Prior to Seneca, Rob worked in sustainable and development finance in Singapore for the World Wide Fund for Nature on different projects ranging from Conservation Finance, Climate Bonds to Bankable Nature Solutions. He also worked on various similar projects for WWF offices around the world.

He has 15 years of experience in investment banking, working in equity sales at ING, Petercam, and ABN AMRO across multiple markets. Since 2013, Rob has been co-owner and CFO of an international health company. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Inholland University and a master’s degree from Nyenrode Business University. Rob is a Dutch national and is based between the Netherlands and Portugal.
