Project Discovery
LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT • ORIGINATION
Before initiating any project, Seneca works to uncover the economic, environmental, and ecosystem dynamics of a given landscape. This includes identifying key risks, pressures, investment opportunities, and potential nature finance pathways, as well as understanding the policy context and stakeholder landscape.
We engage early with stakeholders—government, community, and market actors—to surface complementary and conflicting objectives. Through this process, we assess which types of projects and interventions are relevant, feasible, and aligned with both landscape needs and national policy priorities.
Our goal is to ensure that project concepts are not only environmentally and socially impactful, but also investment-ready and aligned with the expectations of public, private, and blended finance providers. This discovery phase lays the foundation for strategic alignment, stakeholder buy-in, and long-term viability.
We help uncover and shape early-stage ideas into investment-ready, nature-positive projects that can attract public, private, and philanthropic capital.
