It is important to note the difference between green projects and green finance projects. While green projects typically have a specific impact focus, such as renewable energy or biodiversity conservation, green finance projects are centered around the mechanisms of finance itself. These channel capital away from destructive environmental practices and into nature-positive projects using both levers of risk and opportunity to incentivize the financial system – and its actors – to act.

Our core focus is developing on-the-ground commercially viable projects with high impact value. However, effectively responding to the worldwide crisis in nature requires that we also leverage our relationships with private and public financial institutions, as well as with regulators and policymakers.

Working with corporates, financial institutions, multilateral agencies, and governments, we support the development of the enabling environment for green projects as well as green finance projects.
